FTP connection settings
« on: March 20, 2007, 10:36:03 AM »
I'd like to save more information with the FTP connection settings. For example, when I send to a web site I choose to re-size the images, it would be nice if I can save that sort of information with the connection setting. Then when I select the client I want to FTP, PhotoMechanic also makes the changes to the re-sizing settings etc.

I could even create multiple setting for one client, eg: 'A Magazine high res' 'A Magazine low res' and just select the FTP client. As it stands now I can select the client, but then have to tweek the image setting each time they need changing.

You can already do this with saving "snapshot" with that lightning bolt icon on bottom left corner. I have 4 settings done this way. One makes watermark and resizes and uploads to one directory on ftp server, second one uploads originals on other directory, etc.
So on the end you just pick desired snapshot and you have all saved settings available including resize and watermark.
