Capture date changing on converted jpeg
« on: December 02, 2017, 05:34:28 AM »
I shoot Fuji rafs (X-T2) and convert these to jpegs using ON1 Photo Raw.

When I view the jpeg in Photo Mechanic, the IPTC data often (but not always) shows the Capture Time as the Create Time of the jpeg, not the Capture Time of the raw.  But when I view the jpeg IPTC data in ON1 it shows the correct Capture Time.   The jpeg EXIF as shown in Exiftool is correct.

Because this problem does not arise every time it is hard to find a solution.

I have also had this problem when using Photo Ninja.

Please post a sample image that exhibits the problem. Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your image.

Thanks, Kirk, I am having difficulty uploading the raw and jpeg.  I wonder if they are too large.  Is there another way I can send them to you?

You can either upload it to a location of your choice and then provide me with a download link, or you can contact me privately and I'll give you info for our FTP server and you can upload there.
