problem with {actuations} variable

When importing my photograph, I rename the file. I would like to put the number of clicks generated by my device (5D mark III), like these {day0} {month0} {year4} _5D_MARKIII_ {actuations}. But {actuations}, do not return the number, why; sequence is disabled. Config: Mac OS X 10.11.6.

Is this a file directly from the camera? It is likely that either Canon does not store the actuations in a readable form and/or that PM is not (yet) able to decipher it. Can you provide a sample file?

Canon made the shutter count inaccessible several years ago.  PM cannot decrypt it.

Thank you for your answers. In fact, I'm not trying to have the total number of triggers, but only the 4 numbers that are at the end of the file, for example _X9A6331.CR2 which function to use for that.
