Ingest ingests whole disk not folder
« on: August 03, 2018, 09:08:21 AM »
I'm trying to ingest only a folder from my portable Seagate USB portable drive plugged into my MacBook Pro 2015.

I select the 'ingest folder' option, select the folder from the drive and set the primary destination as a folder on my desktop but the ingest takes the whole drive, not the folder selected.

Thanks for help in advance.

If the folder you're ingesting has sub-folders, they will be ingested too.  The entire directory tree starting with the folder(s) you've added will be ingested.  This is by design.

If you really only want the files in a specific folder to be copied, open the folder as a contact sheet, select all of the items, and then use the Copy/Move dialog to copy the items to your destination folder.
