Adding and Removing External Editors
« on: August 31, 2018, 07:35:10 PM »
I ran some tests with PM by adding numerous external editors for special purposes. However, I discovered there appears to be no way to remove these editors from the list in a logical way.

In Launching Preferences, one can assign up to 9 external editors via “Assign default application.” However, at the 9 limit, when a new editor is assigned, it replaces the editor at the top of the list, which is not necessarily the one the user would want to remove.

PM needs to modify this process to:

1. Provide an option for the user to remove any editor or editors from the list regardless of position on the list;

2. Allow the user to designate any editor from a full list for removal when a new editor is added with Launching Preferences.

I could find nothing about this in the documentation.

Thanks in advance for your help.
