Color in Contact Sheet based on file type?

I've searched on this, but it's so vague I can't find anything directly related. I wonder if it's possible to have JPEG thumbnails with one color background and RAW files ( or TIFF files for that matter ) with different colors... Red for Canon, Yellow for Nikon, Orange for SONY and so on, user selectable...
