After installing version  http://www.camerabits.com/download/PhotoMechanic5R19728.dmg PhotoMechanic does not start.

Not starting here either, on the latest public beta version of MacOS Mojave (10.14.4 Beta (18E184e))

We're looking into the problem, but we don't have a solution yet.  I suggest downgrading to the last official release of 10.14 (10.14.3) in the meantime.

Thank you for the help.
I tried to Start PM on my wifes MacBook. Yes, it works. Problem seems to be the Beta 10.14.4

Good.  The last public beta of 10.14.4 was so bad that Apple pulled it.

We still don't recommend using beta updates to Apple OSes if you can avoid them.

Yes I fully agree, I encountered the problems luckily just on a test system. Do you still want those reports here? Or should we report them elsewhere?
