PM 6: Contact sheet shows all pictures with view criteria "tagged"

Hi there, I've noticed a bug concerning the contact sheet in PM6. I usually have the view criteria set to "tagged" pictures only. That works like a few times after ingesting pictures without any problems. But after some ingests the contact sheet stays on "tagged" but shows all pictures (tagged AND untagged) all of a sudden. After clicking on "tagged" only the tagged photos are shown again. This appears on Mac (10.14.3) with Nikon NEF's as well as on a colleagues laptop and Canon JPG's with Windows (Win 10) on it. The bug is not reproduceable and appears sometimes and sometimes not. My preferences are attached below.

Thank you for the report.  If you can tell me how to reproduce the problem reliably (not sure if that's possible) then it's likely that I can fix it.  Intermittent problems are the hardest ones to fix.

It is not reproducable. Sometimes the bug appears and sometimes not, even if you do absolutely the exact same steps in your workflow.

I detect the same issue. It is not reproduceable for me either. I am working with two SD-cards. I am tagging the images in the camera. Then I ingest on of the cards in PM6 on a windows-notebook and my standard setup in PM6 is to show me tagged images only. This works fine one, two or three times. But after that all images will be displayed. I already did try to reproduce this bug, but I couldn't.

With PM5 this bug never occured.

I think I have an idea as to what is happening.  PM5 waits for all metadata to be gathered before sorting/filtering and then letting you work with the contact sheet.  This always provides a correct result but prevents you from working with the contact sheet until all of the work is complete.

PM6 does this work in the background and allows you to work with the contact sheet while the work continues to be performed.  When the work is complete, the contact sheet should refresh and apply the filters.

If having the contents of the contact sheet being 100% accurate during the time that you're working with it is vital, then we'll have to add a preference that will deny you access to the contact sheet until the work is fully complete and the filtering is performed.

That sounds like the correct direction for me. I than think that the refresh (after the work is done) does not work correct/accurate, because as far as I can remember, the contact sheets does/did not change after the bug occured. But I will have an eye especially on that when the issue appers again and will keep you updated.
