Windows 10, PM6+ beta build 3677
I normally do not leave images tagged, but filtering on "Tagged" proved that I over the years had forgotten to remove tag from about 1% of the images in a catalog (500 out of 55000 images). I clicked the "True" indicator, waited while PM6+ produced the filtered contact sheet, selected all and then "Untag Selected Photos".
PM6+ reports: "This item is not locally available and cannot be modified".
Right, I probably moved files without rescanning. My fault. But I would really appreciate if that kind of error messages (application wide) replaced "This item" or similar with a real image reference, the exact path and the file that PM tried and failed.
I first thought that PM removed tags up to the first failed image, but no. The "True" count did not change, and the same images were still shown as tagged. I tried a smaller selection (top row in the contact sheet). That worked, tag mark disappeared and "True" count changed. Repeated a few times, all successful. All I have to do is to work my way down until it fails...
