Find not working on PM6

Just moved to iMac and Mojave 10.14.6. 16Gb memory. Find in PM6 is not working at all. Tried to find Renfrewshire but the Find button in lower right hand corner of the box does not work and is greyed out. Is this a bug or am I missing something? Have found the same in PM5 using Mojave

Do you perhaps have none of the “Searching” tick boxes (i.e. Filenames and IPTC data) selected? In that case there is nothing to find as there is nothing to search in. If this is not the case, please post a screenshot of the Find dialog.


@Kirk, I think IPTC data should be renamed to Metadata to match the naming in the rest of PM.

Please post a screenshot of your Find panel.  Use the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload your JPEG format screenshot.

The box on the right, which I managed to crop! says "Replaced one in one image" there are a number in excess of one which it should have found.

Where those files selected before you ran find? You have the search and replace restricted to only the selected files in the contact sheet.

Change the "In:" popup menu to "All Items" instead of "Selected".

That should fix it.
