PM 4.5 crashing (and crashing, and crashing...)

I've just downloaded the PM 4.5, as I've heard its a great editor. I do love the program, its fast and every it should be, except... I get very frequent crashes when doing some simple tasks. So far, it has crashed when I try to close the Nav pane, when I try to copy a JPEG to another folder. Not a great impression for a trial version

My system is sound. Bug free, virus free, lotsa horsepower (windows based), lots of free HD space etc.

Advice? I'd like this to work, but if this the way the program goes...

The navigator is a source of crashes in the initial release. Try closing the navigator from the view menu and see if the crashes stop. They are working on an update that will fix the problems.
