I would prefer to see metadata displayed exactly as it appears in the photo. If this is done for searching purposes then I would suggest there be an option to ignore case in searches otherwise searches should be case sensitive. This will give complete control of searches for the user.

A remedy is currently in development.
- Metadata shown in Filter/Browse will retain its original unmodified case
- Searches initiated by clicking Filter/Browse items will be case-sensitive by default (What You See Is What You Get)
- The "QuickSearch" field will continue to be case-
insensitive by default
- There will likely be a checkbox under QuickSearch to toggle case-sensitivity (and case-sensitivity can also be controlled at a fine-grained level using the query syntax, though the latter borrows from regular expression syntax and could be said to target 'advanced' users)
