For my workflow it would be usefull to have in Contact Sheet mode the same option to enlarge pictures like it is possible in the IPTC info mode (just pushing the mouse button).

I support this idea, since have to use zoom in-out often to check sharpness, details, etc. This is why I like Aperture's loupe so much.
Maybe an option to open a resizable, permanent zoom window, showing allways the image selected in focus, opened in preview, etc would be a good solution. One could move and place this window as liked, and if someone uses multi monitor, it could increase the extra freedom.
