A magnifying window (100%) on one image screen
« on: October 02, 2019, 01:25:56 AM »
It would be interesting for me to have a magnifying window at 100% to verify some details on a full screen view of a single image.

I think the Magnifying Glass button works really well so this functionality is already there.

In the view menu, I've a cursor mode (with choice selection/loupe) but it's not active so I can't select nothing.
In Preferences of the app, I 'ven't found nothing about the cursor. In the toolbar, nothing like that. No magnifying glass button.(Mac OS)
For my use, I would like a cursor for selection, and a loupe, for exemple in the right click menu on the image screen, only for a particular use, from time to time.

You are right, the View Menu “Cursor Mode” is disabled (@Kirk, this looks like a bug to me!), but you can still select the loupe mode by clicking the loupe icon in the top bar of the contact sheet (see screenshot).

Thanks Hayo Baan
In the same manner, a grid ("wire rack" says my translator .... I'm french) would be useful on 2 comparative images (to select the best vertical wall or the best horizon). ;~)

Hayo,

You are right, the View Menu “Cursor Mode” is disabled (@Kirk, this looks like a bug to me!), but you can still select the loupe mode by clicking the loupe icon in the top bar of the contact sheet (see screenshot).

Bug filed.

Thanks,
