Specific keyboard shortcuts

dear all,

for this one the "Feature Requests" might be a better place, but nevertheless I'll leave it here for starters.

I was wondering if Photo Mechanic has option to set my own keyboard shortcuts? and, if possible, is there any way to connect "Extract JPEG Previews from RAW Photos..." with a keyboard shortcut. I use this command quite a lot and would love to just simply use a keyboard shortcut instead of always going to the menu bar and dropdown and selecting the right option ...

PM itself currently does not have this ability. But if you're on a Mac you can easily work around this by adding a shortcut in the System Preferences.

• Open the Keyboard preferences inside System Preferences
• Select “Shotcuts” tab
• Select “App Shortcuts” in left column
• Click on + button to add another app shortcut
• Select Photo Mechanic from the Application dropdown
• Type "Extract JPEG Previews from RAW photos…” into the Menu Title field (Important: text must be exact, note that it's not three dots but the horizontal ellipsis character!)
• Move cursor into Keyboard Shortcut field and press the shortcut you want. E.g. ^⌥⌘J
