I've an iMac 27" mi-2011, 3,1 Ghz Intel Core i5 with 16 Go 1333 Mhz DDR3 of Ram, with an SSD for the system (Mac OS 10.13.6) and the applications.
When I open PM6+, the delay is about 20 sec with 3 catalogs presently opened (only one "active") with respectively 231-253-20952 images. It seems ok for me because of a very large catalog
I generally have only one "active catalog" in the left column, rarely 2, and generally it's not the largest I'm working with. I've however seen no difference for this sort of selection.
But, if I change my window to another soft, even for a few seconds, returning to PM6+ (I haven't closed or minimised), it takes me 10-15 seconds to work with because it's busy!
I can't understand why it's so because PM6+ was not working during that little intermission! Is PM6+ re-activating the catalogs or something like that?
Hardware problem or organisation one?
