Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP)
« on: February 25, 2020, 01:08:51 PM »
Hi

I have not been able to find if PM support Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP),
There is some old forums from 10 years ago, but not any new posts.

I am looking into "Air direct wireless" tethering system.
Air direct wireless tethering system, connect to all software there support PTP.
I would like to send my images directly into PM, this will improve my workflow very much.
But before investing $329, I would like to know if it works with PM

No, it won't work with PM directly.  Though if the system can put the files in a folder on your computer running PM6, you could use Live Ingest to watch the folder and it will ingest them to your destination and do the various things that Ingest does: create folder hierarchies, apply metadata, and rename files.

Thanks for the update Kirk :-)
I will try if this can be an option.
