A Template Panel

A Template Panel
Most important: have a new panel, almost exactly like the keyword panel, but instead of a list of keywords we would have a list of templates. That would be the fastest way quickly assign metadata the photos. User could see the list and chose the most appropriate template, which would then appear. It would be just like: Image > Metadata Template, slide mouse down to "arrow", click on arrow, look for best template and click on it. But it would do all this with one click, saving time, and speeding up the process for a smooth flow.

Isn't that what the snapshots do in the Metadata Info Panel (lightning bolt at the bottom left)?

Yes after one does this:
1. Click on menu Image,
2. choose Metadata template,
3. move mouse to lightning bolt,
4. click on the bolt, now you can see what template you want,
5. scroll mouse to desired template,

Seems faster to have the user interface allow for a template panel, similar to the keyword panel; with this minor UI change all one needs to do is this:

1. Click on a template from list.

It's about speed, efficiency; how do you want to spend your time?
