Hi Warren,
Ran the Photo Mechanic Plus B18 installer using the Repair option, rebooted the system and videos are not showing.
Interesting. That should have fixed the Photo Mechanic Plus installation.
Assuming that GStreamer 1.16.2 was successfully installed with the entire feature set and the path is correct, I'd like for you to run the Photo Mechanic installer with logging.
- From within the Windows Search field type PowerShell
- Locate Windows PowerShell App from the list and left mouse click on it
- Inside of the PowerShell window enter msiexec /i "Downloads\PMPlusSetupR4705.msi" /L*V! "PMInstall.log" and press the Enter key on your keyboard
The PMPlusSetupR4705.msi installer will run with verbose logging enabled.
Go through the Repair process like normal. When the installation has finished, send me the PMInstall.log file located in your home folder.
It would also be helpful to see a list of the files installed in the VideoRender directory. Assuming that you installed Photo Mechanic Plus in the default location, "C:\Program Files\Camera Bits\Photo Mechanic Plus\", please run the following command in the PowerShell window:
Get-ChildItem 'C:\Program Files\Camera Bits\Photo Mechanic Plus\VideoRender\' | Select-Object -Property Name, Length, CreationTime > VideoRenderListing.txtUse the 'Attachments and other options' link when you're composing your reply to this message and there you'll be able to upload the PMInstall.log and VideoRenderListing.txt files.
Thanks,
Jerry
