What are Catalog Shared Path /Folders

Under the Catalog menu is an option to 'Manage Shared Paths'  which give you a dialog to add a list of shared folders.    What are shared paths, and how to I use them

Under the Catalog menu is an option to 'Manage Shared Paths'  which give you a dialog to add a list of shared folders.    What are shared paths, and how to I use them

It's meant to support shared cataloging which isn't enabled.  We'll remove the menu item for now.
