Photo Mechanic Plus (R5376) 11/18/2020

Both:
 ● Added: Select Missing command on edit menu that works on any Contact Sheet. It scans through all images in the contact sheet and selects any images that have a yellow catalog status indicator.
 ● Added: Ability to remove an entire folder hierarchy from a catalog. ‘Remove Folder’' contextual menu command has been added to the 'Folder Path' treeview items in the Browse tree.
 ● Added: Ability to include/exclude a folder from Scan to Catalog from the contextual menu in the ‘Folder Path’ treeview items in the Browse tree.
 ● Added: “Filter this Collection” and “Filter this Collection and its sub-Collections” commands to the contextual menu in the Collections tab of the Organizer. Choosing either of these commands after selecting a Collection will start a new Filter stack with a Custom Search filter with a query that produces the Collection. You can then filter it further by adding more filter stages.
 ● Added: Improved catalog error reporting. See the Catalog Status window for messages.
 ● Added: Full Catalog Sync updates preview proxies when a local file is newer, and generates new proxies if any were missing. (If proxy generation is enabled in Catalog Maintenance settings.)
 ● Added: Text exporter now adds a .txt extension to user-provided filename if it doesn’t have an extension.
 ● Added: XMP is now maintained internally within HIF files without the need to create XMP sidecar files. This prevents problems with a shared XMP sidecar file between a HIF file and an associated RAW file (e.g. ARW or CR3).
 ● Added: Highlighting in the Active Catalogs list, for catalogs needing maintenance.
 ● Fixed: An issue that would arise when choosing a new location for a folder that had been moved and that folder and its subfolders contained a large number of items. This problem would cause the catalog to be unable to be updated once the problem occurred.
 ● Fixed: Made Scan to Catalog fault tolerant when a disk is being scanned and it suddenly becomes unavailable. A message will appear in the status pane of the Scan to Catalog window prompting the user to make the disk available again and to click Start to resume the scan. You can also Stop the scan if you’re unable to make the disk available. You could then remove that path from the Folders to Scan and Start the scan anew.
 ● Fixed: Applying rotation to photos that have been soft-rotated no longer adds a crop to the image if it did not already have one.
 ● Fixed: faulty full constrained crops on large images whose dimensions are the same ratio as the constrained crop.
 ● Fixed: Removing items from a catalog now removes corresponding proxy preview files from the catalog folder. (Previously, only deleting an original file caused proxies to be deleted.)

macOS:
 ● Added: Confirmation when moving a folder to the Trash.
 ● Fixed: Selection count now correct when inverting the selection (Edit->Select others).
 ● Fixed: An issue that would cause some users to see small black squares on their display.
 ● Fixed: Choosing ‘Text only’ view of the Preview window’s toolbar not possible, promoted to Icons and Text. If you want to hide the toolbar instead, use the View->Hide Toolbar command. To bring it back, use the View->Show Toolbar command.
 ● Fixed: Dragging and dropping an image onto a contact sheet to move or copy the image no longer allows moving or copying the image if the image being moved (from the drag) is at the same location.

Windows:
 ● No specific Windows changes.
