Upgraded to Pm Plus how to delete PM 6 best way

Hi there,
I upgraded to PM Plus om my office iMac.
I read I should delete PM 6.

What is the best way. Deactivate and then just through the program to trash ?
Want to hold all my settings.

PM Plus is only one activation ?

You don't have to delete anything.  The two products have different license keys.  They can coexist, but the reason we suggest uninstalling Photo Mechanic 6 if you are using Photo Mechanic Plus is that the changes you make in PM6 won't be noticed in Photo Mechanic Plus for cataloging purposes.

You can either move Photo Mechanic 6 to the Trash or keep it there but just stop using it.
