Upper case :UC not working

I been using templates for a long time and I noticed :UC is not working anymore on metadata templates. Has this changed or am I doing something wrong

I have the latest PM 6 installed so hope someone can advise why its not working it used to work on PM 5

You'll have to provide the range information.  It was never documented as optional though it used to work when omitted.

If you want to operate on the entire value you would use:

{variablename:0:UC}
