I've had several blog readers and YouTube viewers write in complaining that their Structured Keywords dialog would close every time they applied a set of keywords. I was clueless. Mine works fine. I wasn't much help, I'm afraid.
A clever reader finally commented that these folks are most likely opening Structured Keywords from the keywords flyout in the IPTC editor or the Template Editor. Which only work on one picture or one batch at a time. So of course it closes. Just like the editor it was called from. So there.
Now that I think about it, there are times when opening Structured Keywords from the one-at-a-time IPTC Editor or the Template Editor could be very handy. I just always have opened it with the keystroke or menu item.
Maybe this post will be helpful if somebody happens along with the same issue.
