Preview showing clipping- How to turn this off?

How to turn off clipping in preview? I am on a Mac, mountain lion, PM 5.xx

How to turn off clipping in preview? I am on a Mac, mountain lion, PM 5.xx

What 'clipping' are you talking about?  Crops darkening the area outside the crop?  Blue colored pixels in dark areas?  Red colored pixels in bright areas?

blue pixels in the dark areas.

In the panel on the right side, scroll to the bottom and look for the pane labeled Highlights & Shadows.  Click on the 'Off' radio button.  Or, simply press the 'B' key.
