Order of numbered folders

I photograph race cars and sort them into folders by car number.  In the navigator window they get sorted in binary order, 1,12,100,125,2, 23,270,290,3,31,390 etc.  It makes the drag and drop procedure way more difficult than need be, after I have created my folders.  I just need folders to sort in numerical order, can't be too hard, no?

Which OS do you use? And which version of Photo Mechanic?
I use Mac OS 10.9.5 and PM 5.0 build 16299 and it does seem to sort the folders by numerical order.
