Video files do not display thumbnails on Mac

I recently upgraded to PM 6 but now my contact sheets do not display thumbnails for the video files. They are all .mov files, and I can hear the audio but I cannot see the images.
What am I missing?

Yes. This is how my settings have always been. Should they be different with PM 6?

That setting is not related to video playback within Photo Mechanic. It determines which application launches for video files when you ask Photo Mechanic to launch an editor.

I have never seen your described issue before. Perhaps a look at your log file might tell us something.

You can get to the log file by going to Help -> Reveal Support Data from within Photo Mechanic. Feel free to post it here, but it may contain filenames and folder paths from your computer, so send if you would prefer not to post it publicly, send it to support@camerabits.com and we can assist you from there.

I have attached the PM Log file here. I hope you can find something useful within it. If it helps you, the trouble area appears to be at the end of the list. Perhaps search for:
'/Volumes/Archive/ 2011 takes/04:2011/20110428_RDB_Patriots/Patriots VIDEO/Patriots.mov' with error 5"

It does look like all of those similar errors are coming from files on /Volumes/Archive/. Do you encounter this issue with movie files on other drives or just that one?

I just opened a folder from a different HD. Most of the video files behaved normally.  Several did not display a thumbnail but played properly, while some had no thumbnails, and would only play audio.
I will try a restart to see if it's just my MacBook.

A re-start did not change anything.
