Would it be possible to consider export to PDF in future?

It is nice to give clients an overview of images via PDF. This is often done in Lightroom, c1 and even Bridge.

But it would be nice to select images and do this in Photo Mechanic too.

What are you looking to have on the PDF?

You can currently create a PDF of selected items as a Contact Sheet (grid of images), or as proofs (one image per page) with any metadata that can be gotten from a variable, by using the print utility to output to a PDF. Both operating systems offer a similar option when printing.

Thanks Mick!

I guess my feature request would extend to basic theming/branding for clients.
Logo, page color etc..

Maybe a small block of custom text other than the footer for contact details.
