Preloading Metadata has failed

When attempting a Find and Replace, I keep getting a "Preloading Metadata has failed and the operation has been cancelled" error. I've done many Find and Replace operations in the past with no problem until recently.

Are there any other Tasks going on that are updating the catalog at the time that you're doing the Find and Replace?
