Compare view color

Hi,
In the Preview window, when set to compare 2 images, the selected image's border is always lighter in color than the non selected one.
Is there a way to customize that color?

I would like both selected and non selected images to have the same background/border color because it often tricks my eyes into thinking the images look more different than they are in reality.

Open Preferences, go to the Preview, section, and set the color of Selected Background color to your choosing

Thank you, it didn't work before, turns out I had to restart the app for the change to take effect!
