dyn.1.log
« on: June 13, 2023, 06:37:23 PM »
Hello,

I saw my hard drive space shrinking before my eyes today and noticed that the biggest file on my computer by far is the dyn.1.log in the Photo Mechanic cache folder. Not sure why....

I'm on a Mac Studio, Monterey. I'll attach screenshots too.

Thank you,

Will

It is possible that there was an error logged repeatedly that made the log file grow.  You can simply delete dyn.1.log. It is possible that that error is no longer happening. You can check the size of the dyn.log files after using Photo Mechanic for a bit and as long as they aren't more than a few megabytes then the issue is likely resolved. If the log files are larger than a few megabytes, go ahead and contact support@camerabits.com and we'll look into it with you.

Ooops, it happened again overnight. This time it filled my whole disk and apps shut down.
