Viewing different searches or paths in different tabs
« on: November 20, 2023, 06:02:34 AM »
I have a couple of tabs open, one shows the result of a search (I'm looking at a certain folder so it's a 'path' search). I want to look at another folder in the other tab so I can switch between the views to check something. So in the second tab I create a new search 'path "Other Folder"' but I'm shown the result in the first tab. I can't see both searches.

I've also tried browsing but again, when I switch to the second tab, browse to the folder, I'm taken back to see the result in the first tab.

I thought I remembered there's a setting to reuse tabs for new searches, maybe I need to change than. But I can't find it in Settings/Preferences.

The "Reuse Search Tabs" checkbox is under the Quick Search bar. Click the expansion triangle next to the search bar if you don't see it.

Thank you. Hidden in plain sight!
