FTP using SSL/TLS
« on: April 12, 2024, 02:38:13 PM »
Hi,
I've been setting up a new FTP server today. I can get Filezilla client to connect to it and transfer files both ways. I cannot get PM V6 (build 7102) to connect.
I get the following error in PM.log...
[Fri Apr-12-2024 22:26:54.138][000021a4][0547356] FTPClient.cpp:471 TCPSocket::connect() failed, waiting and trying again

This error is repeated several times until I 'cancel' the transfer. Then I get the following...
[Fri Apr-12-2024 22:27:17.463][000021a4][0530724] FTPClient.cpp:473 TCPSocket::connect() failed, user aborted
[Fri Apr-12-2024 22:27:17.463][000021a4][0530724] FTPClient.cpp:709 FTPClient::open(): Could not make connection to server

Any help would be much appreciated.
Windows 11 pro, PM 6 (build 7102)

Thanks
Garry

Are you making sure to use the FTP v6 uploader rather than the older FTP uploader (its a separate option in the Selected Uploader dropdown that has separate connection settings)?

Best regards,

Thanks, yes, that seemed to solve it.
A bit confusing though, having 2 ftp uploaders!
