I use Photo Mechanic Version 6.0, build 7102 (796dd4a). Something unusual happened during my last import. A number of images were imported incorrectly exposed; half of the image was exposed correctly and the other half was not. In some cases an image was not exposed and instead got a black image with text that said “unable to render”. I never encountered this problem. Initially I thought it was my Canon R3 but when I did the second import of my second camera the same issue occurred. A week after the shoot, I re-ingested the images from the cards in two different computers and all of the images were correctly exposed. I now believe that it is not a camera issue. It may be a PM issue.
Have you seen this issue before and if so how do you fix it. I am attaching an image so that you can see what I am describing.
