PM6+ reading unwanted structured keywords
« on: July 08, 2024, 09:51:19 AM »
I am having problems with PM6+ ((build 7102 with macOS Sonoma 14.5) reading Keywords as an intended flat list. The originating software DOES contain “structured” keywords but claims to write the metadata as Adobe Standard. In the example below: the photo (of Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate) should show only 2013, Berlin, Germany, Orig…..which is exactly how it is read in Adobe Bridge.

PM6+ is showing:

Germany, Berlin, 2013, Orig, Places | Europe | Germany, Places | Europe | Germany | Berlin, Years | 2013, Miscellaneous | Orig.

which is a combination of the “Adobe Standard” “flat ”list AND the structured list with redundancy as in “Places| Europe|Germany AND “Places| Europe| Germany| Berlin.

Other software (Graphic Converter 12) also properly shows the intended “flat” list exactly as does Adobe Bridge.

Are there any settings or “work arounds” that might solve this issue to have PM6+ read the keywords as depicted above?

Thanks.

Gary
