Make Color Class more visible in Preview windows
« on: September 21, 2025, 02:52:53 PM »
The color class of an image is very easy to see in Contact Sheet view. However in the Preview window, it is relegated to the bottom right corner.

On larger displays, like a 38" or larger wide screen, this puts the color class of the image way off to the side in the bottom right corner.

I'd love the ability to make the color class much more prominent. For example as a border around the image; border around the outside of the Preview window or even the background of the preview window.

This would really help when going through on a second edit and quickly seeing what color was assigned on the first pass.

Second that.

Plus a way to customize the information visible! What information you need. Where. How the window is when it opens etc. (and FTP connection for me, for example). For example, it is difficult to get automatizion software to press on some of  small button etc.

Maybe a thread regarding what kind of information and setup people would like to have....

Yes, but...  I would hate the color border around the image, or background, but would be ok with full thumbnail background being of label color
So give us options to enable it the way it fits each one. For example
- default (like default)
- thumbnail bg (in preview)
- preview bg
- border color
- corner color
