box.com collections

Hi. For my client, I need to upload to a bunch of different team folders in box.com.  If I upload using Box's website, I can quickly nativate by pre-creating a collection [1] to get to the various target folders (there are more than 25 of them).  The Photo Mechanic Box uploader is great, but it unfortunately doesn't know about the collection that I've created, so I have to navigate through the client's directory tree for each target folder.

- Is it possible to see the collection that I've created in Box (I'm not sure if the Box API supports this)
- Would it be possible to bookmark a collection of folders in Photo Mechanic that are "favorites" to quickly navigate the client's Box hierarchy?

According to their API documentation, “Currently, the only collection available is the ‘favorites’ collection.”
We're not sure how helpful it would be to add support for this, being that there is only one collection that can be chosen.

You could try this: save each team folder as a snapshot. While the column browser doesn’t update when a snapshot is loaded, the destination path does, so it should get you closer to the collection.

Oh, support for the 'favorites' collection would be wonderful; I'd be happy to add the team folders into that collection before each tournament.

I tried saving the teams folders as different snapshots.  The problem, as you mention, is that the column browser doesn't update, so I still have to navigate through the Box hierarchy to find the correct folder.

To be more specific, the customer's layout is something like

- RUGBY
- - Team A
- - - Tournament X
- - - Tournament Y
- - Team B
- - - Tournament X
- - - Tournament Y

So when I'm shooting at tournament Y, there's a lot of navigation required to upload to the appropriate folder for all 24 teams.
With Box collections, I have a collection of all the Tournament Y folders.
