Umlaut in smugmug uploader gets error message

When I use Umlaute like ö,ä or ü in the filename, the uploader to smugmug works only with Nikon Z9 nef-files, Nikon D5 nef-files get a error.

That seems odd.  PM doesn't treat one kind of NEF file any differently than another NEF file when it comes to encoding the text that makes up the filename.  Can you share one of the NEF files that gets an error so we can try to reproduce the issue?

I can't upload these two images, with the ü (u with the two dots) in then name.

I was able to recreate the error. I'll look for a solution ASAP.
