Just some thoughts which would make my worflow faster:
1. An option for adding captions etc. in the same window as cropping. (adding exposure etc. would be amazing)
2. An option to keep the crop on on each photo (one could be same as last or a centered one)
3. Being able to mark which FTP to send to in the above window would also be nice (and a short cut for it) . So Command Y for same settings as last photo (see below) for FTP 1 and Command X for same settings as last photo plus FTP 2.
4. A short cut "upload with same settings (which include captions etc) as previous photo. Somebody scores and you can send them more quickly than now.
5. A variable which takes each word and not just letters (can be a bit difficult with longer strings now).
6. Customisable short cuts. Copying XMPs for example is too complicated when hurrying while joggling with two cameras.
7. 10 (or more) saved XMPs which be recalled b a short cut. So crop (if needed), Option 1 (Mike Tyson) and command U and its done.
Every second matters as we earn more money the faster we are and the faster we are, we miss less of the actions. We are up against photo agencies with editors etc.
