Locate existing catalogue
« on: February 13, 2025, 07:11:44 AM »
What are some of thee circumstances that can cause PM+ (7312) to "forget" the location of an existing catalog?  It doesn't happen that often, but it's a bit of a nuisance when it does.  And I may not notice it for quite a while; in the interim I'm busily adding item to the "Default Catalog" rather than my working catalog.

I wouldn't think that remembering a location should be all that difficult.  Is this characteristic of not restarting PM+ very often? ... not shutting down cleanly? sleeping my computer rather than restarting it?  or ... ?

Bob,

Damage to the catalog state database would certainly cause that.  This would most likely be caused by either a forced termination of the application while it is updating that database, or if the application were to crash while updating that database.
