I got the notification in the last update that PM Plus is being EOLed and we have to switch to PM. Does PM support the catalog management features of PM Plus? Can it handle importing of photos from multiple external disks?
The new version is a single application that can run as the standard version (formerly known as Photo Mechanic 6), or with a Plus license, the Plus version. You would need to upgrade to a Plus license if you want to use Plus features (primarily cataloging).
