Not a request or anything, just wanted to share a little workflow I use from time to time.
I have a standard Ingest preset for almost every shoot.
{year4}/{month0} {monthname}/{year4}{month0}{day0}_{clientname}_{jobname}/RAW
I also have other presets, for example when I shoot multiple events in folders, or when I shoot different parts of one event in camera folders, or when I just dump my Everyday Camera stuff. Anyway, sometimes I forget to switch the preset. In this case I could either stop the ingest, switch the settings and start over or.... I could to re-ingest.
Basically what I did it configure the copy/move tool to Move files to standard Ingest location, create same folder structure & apply same metadata preset, as if I just ingested it normally. Saves the hassle of moving stuff manually.
I know I can also use ingest from selection, but it doesnt move the photos.
