Hi,
I have imported a gpx-file and "plot GPS log" to get the track displayed on the map. Instead the software closes all windows and is no longer running.
What is my mistake? Please help. Thank you.
regards,
Suitbert

Hard to say without more information.  What version and build of Photo Mechanic Plus are you using?  What operating system are you using and what is its version?
What device produced the GPX file?
Do you have a current version of GPS Babel installed and have you set it in Photo Mechanic's settings?

Here are some mor details: PM+, version 2025.1, build 7955 (966971f), Windows 10 PC
GPS-file created by Columbus V900 and checked with GPS-Babel, which is V 1.10.0 now
Where do I have to mention my PS-Babel-Installation within the PM+ settings?
Attached please find the gpx-file.
Thanks for the assistance.

When you first use the Import GPS Coordinates dialog and click the Add button to add your log file, a message box should appear telling you about GPSBabel, offers to send you to download it and then asks if you've installed it.  Then it will show an application chooser dialog to enable you to find and choose your installed GPSBabel application.

You mentioned in your first post that all of the windows close down.  Did the Photo Mechanic Plus application shut down entirely?  If so, then prior to importing, did you get a chance to press the Add button?  Did you see a map in the right side of the Import GPS Coordinates dialog window?

Hello Kirk,
I have uninstalled GPS-Babel now. Then I have started PM+ again and open the Import GPS-Window. now I got the question about GPS-Babel install.
The (new) install of GPS-Babel went ok, I pressed Add to add another gpx-file. I can see the map in the Import GPS Coordinates window and I can see the map.

But when adding the enclosed gpx-file, I again get PM+application crahed, close completly.

I'm able to reproduce the problem and I have fixed it.  It will be fixed in the next build, due in the next two weeks.  I can make you an updated build that fixes the issue but hasn't been fully tested by our Q/A staff if you'd like.
