Brian,
I have just discovered this problem and reading the comments below it seems that Camera Bits are pleading not guilty to something that they should be discussing with Apple. The reactions seem to suggest "it's someone else's problem" and kick it into the long grass.
My version is up to date 7285 and Tahoe also up to date 26.1
I have checked through the options in settings etc. but cannot see a fix and reading that a previous version will not fix it I am thinking maybe going over to 'Bridge' is a possible answer but I prefer PM+ as a work tool.
I have attached a screenshot to show my problem.
Support for updates of Photo Mechanic Plus (6) ended in June this year with the 7285 build. The 2025 builds of Photo Mechanic do not have this problem. Fixing this and making Photo Mechanic 2025 native on Apple Silicon systems took more than 6 months of intense work. It cannot be back-ported to Photo Mechanic Plus (6) and maintain the same system requirements.
Apple released macOS Tahoe after our last release of Photo Mechanic Plus (6) and if the problem is to be addressed, it will be Apple that will be adding some sort of workaround for the issue.
If you want to move forward to a new perpetual license of Photo Mechanic 2025 (Plus), you can get a significant discount towards the license. In the Help menu in build 7285, look for the "See Upgrade Options..." menu item.
