I just downloaded and installed 4.5.2 per the directions and then opened PM and the About section shows 4.5.1 as the installed version. Is there a problem with the installation or with the About section?
Quit PM, and instead of launching it, right-click (or Ctrl-click if you have a one button mouse) on the Photo Mechanic icon and choose Get Info from the contextual menu. Look as the "Version:" information. Does the application version say 4.5.1 or 4.5.2? If it says something other than 4.5.2 then you should close the Info window and then remove that copy of Photo Mechanic from your system (just put it in the Trash and then empty the Trash).
So then it is likely that you either copied the Photo Mechanic 4.5.2 application to a different folder and you need to find it, or open up the disk image again and copy version 4.5.2 to your system again.
