Spotlight search on external drives?

Is it possible to get the spotlight search to also search external drives?  Right now, it only seems to search my local drive.  I'm on the Mac platform.

John, I would think the spotlight search of PM makes use of the spotlight search function of Mac OS X.  So if the latter can do this, so would PM...  As I do not yet own a Mac (something that is to change soon I hope :)), I don't know if Spotlight is able to search external drives.

Are you doing the search via Edit > Search? This always works for me - as long as the external drives are connected, of course.
