Renaming files

My photos are named like 2007-09-22-01-42-56.JPG and any duplicates are named 2007-09-22-01-42-56.JPG, 2007-09-22-01-42-56-01.JPG, 2007-09-22-01-42-56-02.JPG .  How can I set up Photo Mechanic to name my photos this way.

There is currently no way to get Photo Mechanic to add a dash before adding the collision resolution digits.  The best you would be able to get to do is:

Can I ask why you are choosing a renaming string that causes so many collisions?  The sequence number can be used to avoid this entirely.

I don't know what you mean by collisions, but I have over 1 million photos named with this naming scheme.  I have been evaluating Breezebrowser Pro, Digital Pro and Photo Mechanic to decide which to replace NikonView.  Breezebrowser and Digital Pro are slower than Photo Mechanic, but they both offer the naming scheme I need.  If I can't name the file the way I need to, then the program is of no use to me.

With collisions, Kirk means files that would end-up with the same name after your rename.  Do you absolutely need your files to be named exactly as you describe?  With some minor tweaking of the rename pattern, you can achieve lots.  For instance, how about "{year4}-{month0}-{day0}-{hour24}-{minute}-{second}-" (yes, have the last dash).  Then change the preference of the conflict renaming (edit|preferences|files) to (always) append a digit.  This will give you
2007-09-22-01-42-56-.JPG, 2007-09-22-01-42-56-01.JPG, 2007-09-22-01-42-56-02.JPG, ...
or (if you chose to always append):
2007-09-22-01-42-56-01.JPG, 2007-09-22-01-42-56-02.JPG, 2007-09-22-01-42-56-03.JPG, ...
