Variable for image color mode??
« on: November 15, 2007, 01:33:14 PM »
Is there a variable (not listed in the manual in .pdf) to show in the contact sheet the color mode of the images?????
Under my images on the contact sheet right now I see the size and pixels x y. I'd like to see if it's an rgb or cmyk.
Is there such a variable?

Also: is there a DEFINITIVE list of all the variables available?

There is a variable called {colormode} but it shows the color mode chosen in the camera.  No cameras that I know of can output CMYK.  We don't have a variable that would display what pixel type a bitmapped image is in.

Yes, it is built into the application.  The Variables list that is available from many of the dialogs lists all of the variables.  Each variable when single-clicked on will display what it does in a text area at the top of the list.

And then there is of course the variable that displays the color profile: {icc}
This may also give you what you want.

Hope this helps.
