Saving not possible
« on: March 26, 2008, 07:54:55 AM »
Since I (probably) changed some preferences in PM I can't save RAW's or DNG's anymore. The message says: None of the selected photo's can be saved at high resolution. Someone any idea how to solve this problem?

What version of Photo Mechanic are you using?
What OS version are you using?
What camera did the files come from originally?

In the RAW tab of the Preferences dialog, did you disable RAW rendering?

Yezz, I did disable RAW-rendering, trying to find an explanation for the difference in colours between originals and saved images (as TIFF or PSD), hoping to avoid rendering by Apples Image IO. Now, after RTFM, I understand the workaround of PM, regarding RAW's + JPEG's.
So, in future I will use PS again for rendering the RAW's, after selecting images in PM.

Btw: DNG's still can't be saved in PM, whatever I tried.

ImageIO cannot render all DNG formats (there are many).

This DNG came right out of Camera Raw.
