ftp sending window disappears

My ftp upload dialog pop up box is disappearing once in a while
after starting multiple upload sessions. Nevertheless data is transmitted successfully - invisibly. How can I
get that box in sight again (it's not hidden (in the taskbar)) to have full control??

It happend to me that I closed the ftp sending window accidentally. Files were still sent but I could not reopen the window. Even when I added new pics the window did not appear again.

How can I reopen the window in such a case?

How is it that the window is disappearing?  Are you closing it?

I'm not closing it (which would abort the transmission). It's gone (randomly) previous to the 2nd or 3rd or... upload session. When I start another "ftp as..." by "send" there is nothing displayed - the files are going out. Restart of PM helps.

(my system: winXP Pro, SP2, PM 4.5.3 running on Acer Travelmate)
