Rename string disappears

Hi Kirk,
I have a preset rename string (prefix_Year_Month_day_shuttercount) Occasionally, I have to rename just 1 file (to v1, or the entire name). I notice that I lose the entire rename string.  How can I do a one-time rename without over-righting the regular rename string?

I suppose you could copy it and paste it back when you're through, but a better way would be to use the 'Snapshot' button (the one with the lightning bolt on it) to save your current settings with a name that you can remember so that you can access it when you need to.
